DENSO to Aid California Wildfire Victims

Who: The DENSO North Ameria Foundation

What: The DENSO North America Foundation today pledged to donate $200,000 to the American Red Cross for wildfire disaster relief. The contribution is earmarked for victims of the Southern California wildfires.

Where and why: DENSO operates three companies in Southern California communities:

-- DENSO Wireless Systems, Inc., and LA Laboratories, a division of DENSO International America in Vista, Calif.

-- DENSO Sales California in Long Beach, Calif.

-- American Industrial Manufacaturing Services in Murrieta, Calif.

DENSO Wireless Systems and LA Laboratories are located in San Diego County, one of the areas hit by the fires.

"We hope we can help some of the families, businesses and communities recover from this devestation," said Matt Matsushita, president and CEO, DENSO International America.

When: Nov. 1, 2007
